Musings on Acceptance

To begin with more ease, I begin with fully accepting my state. A full letting go of trying to make anything different than what it is. We can get back to that later, and indeed we have the restoration of peace and justice and wellbeing in mind. But right now I give myself an easy start. I give myself to the full acceptance of my state, and I notice that as I feel my acceptance expand and become more inclusive of things as they are, including the aches and the woes, I notice that just the experience of my own ability to come into a state of deepening acceptance, feels nourishing to me, and helps me to access a starting point of okayness and non-resistance. This does not mean that there won’t be any changes or improvements of my state, it just means that I can begin with the embrace of what is and find myself protected by that.
